Rev. Brinson is a native of Macon Georgia. Born May 21st she is the middle child of 3 children. Anita graduated from Central High school in Macon Georgia and later relocated to Snellville after receiving her Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology in 1998. Anita accepted Christ at an early age in her home church St Luke Baptist Church, Macon Georgia and under the leadership of Pastor Marshall Stenson. Anita is married to Rev. Jimmie Brinson and they have two children Trinity and Mikai Brinson. Anita is a long time active member of New Jerusalem Baptist Church where she serves faithfully under the leadership of Pastor Elijah Collins, Jr. Throughout her tenure at New Jerusalem, Rev. Brinson served as Angel Food Ministry Leader for 4 years and on the Deaconess Ministry for a number of years. Anita’s passion to serve did not stop there; she then, decided to serve on the children’s church Ministry for 2 years, and served as Sunday school teacher for 1 ½ years. Rev. Anita Brinson was licensed to preach the Gospel in 2012 and serves New Jerusalem faithfully in many capacities.
